is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of North Davis Sewer District will be
in a regular meeting on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. in the District

The NORTH DAVIS SEWER DISTRICT is accepting
applications until Friday,
January 20, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. for the position of Wastewater Plant
Operator
I. Minimum qualifications are as follows:
Graduation from a standard senior high school and two years of general work
experience, preferably in treatment plant operations; or an equivalent combination
of education and experience, ability to lift 50 pounds.
Starting wage is $16.10 per hour. The
following qualifications are desirable: some knowledge of technical treatment plant
equipment and machinery and its operation maintenance and repair; some knowledge
of plant processes; some knowledge of hazards and precautions associated with plant
operations and processes; some knowledge of laboratory procedures and the chemical
and physical process involved in wastewater treatment; the following qualifications
are required: ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; ability
to operate a variety of types of hand and power tools related to the maintenance
of plant facilities and equipment; ability to develop working relationships with
supervisors and co-workers.
Required to work rotating shifts and weekends.
Must obtain, within 18 months, a Grade I Wastewater Treatment
Operator
certification; must possess a valid Utah State driver’s license; and must be willing
to work on-call (24 hours). Drug test
required of selected applicant before permanent position offered.
