North Davis Sewer District (Owner) is requesting Bids from Qualified Contractors for the construction of the following Project:

Hill Field Replacement 157872

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the North Davis Sewer District located at 4252 West 2200 South, Syracuse, Utah 84075 until Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Any Bids received after the specified time will not be considered.

The Project includes the following Work:

  1. Removal and replacement of existing manhole(s) and gravity sewer in the public right-of-way (ROW), across private property, and in NDSD easements.
  2. Open-cut construction of 20- and 24-inch diameter CCFRP gravity sewer and polymer manholes in the public ROW, across private property, and in NDSD easements.
  3. Location, inspection, open-cut construction, and reconnection of existing service laterals.
  4. Cleaning of sewer pipes, manholes and structures, CCTV inspection, bypass pumping, traffic control, excavation and backfilling, and surface restoration.
  5. All other work outlined in the Bidding Documents.
The Project has an expected duration of 490 days.

A mandatory pre-bid meeting for the Project will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the North Davis Sewer District, 4252 West 2200 South, Syracuse, Utah 84075. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting. Drawings, Specifications, and CCTV will be available to Contractors in an electronic format via downloadable link at no charge. Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents shall do so by email to the Engineer listed above by 5:00 p.m., local time, on November 18, 2022. Questions received after this time and date may not be answered.

The attendees of the mandatory pre-bid conference will be updated by the Engineer with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the Engineer. Neither the Owner nor the Engineer has any responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, or sufficiency of any Bid Documents obtained from any source other than the source indicated in these documents. Obtaining these documents from any other source(s) may result in obtaining incomplete and inaccurate information. Bidders are hereby advised that obtaining these documents from any source other than directly from the source listed herein may also result in Bidders' failure to receive addenda, corrections, or other revisions to these documents that may be issued.

For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid, and to make award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interest of the Owner.
